Once again we cross the Confederation Bridge enroute through New Brunswick to Nova Scotia. Our GPS takes us across the river from New Brunswick into Nova Scotia, and right after crossing the first traffic light do we notice the bridge that read 10' 6". Uh oh. So we put The Popeye Express into park mode, get out and unhook the jeep, back up a few feet, and turn into a parking lot that fortunately lets us out at the other end. A minor blip on the grand scale of things. As I called out to the waving folks "We just provided your Sunday afternoon entertainment." Everyone laughs. It is not an uncommon occurrence!
Shortly thereafter, we come to the visitor center, and of course make a stop for maps and all the listings of "must do and see's" for Nova Scotia.
I take a last photo prior to our departure. Soon we cross yet another bridge and drive onto Cape Breton Island and the lovely town of Baddeck. Tomorrow we hope to get started on the Cabot Trail.
