Here we are at the home of Lucy Maude Montgomery's uncle John and aunt Annie, and the place she called Silver Bush. Today it is a museum, and we enjoyed this beautifully restored home with many original furnishings. The following pictures are all within the house, until we come to the kitty, of course.
Next, the view from the back door and resident kitty. Couldn't find the kitties name anywhere in my notes, and I apologize, for they did give me her name. She reminded me so our Daphne.
Now arriving at the birthplace of Lucy Maude Montgomery, we take these final pictures.
We didn't get a chance to go in, but if you went to see
everything pertaining to Lucy Maude Montgomery, we'd still be there today. There is much to see. PEI is charming, reminding me of Whidbey Island without the towering mountains with surrounding glaciers. More to come. . .
