Happy Independence Day Everyone!

From 4th of July Parade

Hey, it's the 4th of July and everyone loves a parade. People came out from under the woodwork to help celebrate the 4th, and the streets of Talkeetna were brimming with people and their dogs.

Without a police force, everyone just chimed in and kept the order, cleared the path for the parade, and displayed their finest rendition of a moose. Everyone had a blast, and the restaurants were filled with happy celebrants. I believe this is the highlight of tourist season! Check this out for yourself:
