On a beautiful day, we enjoy an uneventful drive to Fort Nelson. Arriving mid-afternoon, we only have time for a simple dinner, and a nice walk over to the Heritage Museum.
A guy named Marl (last night unknown) started this museum years ago. We were made aware of this museum from one of the many DVD's we've collected on Alaska over the years.
Marl started with his collection of vehicles, which has grown over the years. He keeps them all in running order and started many of them for our benefit.
A talented man, he also built this bicycle which has both wheels turning independently of each other. Here is a picture of him riding it:
Bob got the 'hang' of it, but didn't have enough time to perfect his technique!
The cute lady above is holding the tin of "mosquito eggs"; white colored jelly beans, I think, but good for a laugh!
A mural seen on our walk home on a local business. Tomorrow we drive to the Yukon!

I am so enjoying your trip north. Our friend Paul went last year and we so enjoyed his pictures. But he doesn't do a blog just posts pictures and I missed having the narrative.
